A word to the program

"With the orchestral overture Tribute to Trento Cathedral, Op.27, I paid tribute to the cathedral of the same name and it was composed on the occasion of the cooperation of the Prague Conservatory with the Conservatory of Trento (Italy). It was premiered in November 2001 at the Church of the Holy Saviour in Prague and then in the beautiful Duomo di Trento in 1999 during a tour of the Prague Conservatory Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Miriam Němcová.   It was later performed by the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra (Miriam Němcová) and recorded by the Pilsen Philharmonic for Czech Radio (Jiří Malát)."
